Are you seeing the blue Send button? It is the second icon across from that. Also try clicking the pop-out arrows and see if everything becomes visible.

I believe it is just a formatting issue, when someone e-mailed me with an attachment, it use to show as a paperclip on the far right, now it shows the attachment as an icon under the e-mail heading.
